Year 5
On Thursday 14th September, Class 5 were awaiting their surprise visitor. After assembly, the class were shocked to discover a ‘real’ Viking in their classroom! During the morning, Alex Fellowes led the class through a tale of kings, Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, war, death and treachery. Class 5 learned about Eric Bloodaxe and how he came to save the city of York. Much fun was had by all involved and the class were particularly enthusiastic about the role play! What a great morning!
