Admissions 2017-18

Parents wishing to apply for a Reception place at Fagley Primary School:

Must complete the COMMON APPLICATION FORM, which is available either from the Local Authority or from the School. This should then be returned directly to the Local Authority by the National closing date for Primary school places which will be 16 January 2017.

Online applications can also be made by logging onto www.bradford.gov.uk and selecting ‘Online School Admissions’.

All children in Bradford are admitted into the EYFS (Reception) Class in the academic year in which they are five. All children begin school in September.

 

The closing date for EYFS applications into school in September 2017 is Friday 16th January 2017.

 

The National offer day for places is Saturday 16th April 2016 when online applicants will be informed by the Local Authority of their application status. All parents should receive an allocation letter via primary/nursery schools or Royal Mail on Monday 16th April 2017.

 

Appeals:

Parent(s) who wish to appeal against the Governors' decision not to offer a place to their child, may do so by writing to the Local Authority Education Appeals Committee within 20 school days from the date of notification that their application was unsuccessful.

The Appeals Committee will consider the appeal and notify parents of their decision within 5 school days of the hearing.
