Miriam Lord went to Cliffe Castle on house day. Our first workshop was called 'Skulls and Skeletons.' We shared our knowledge of bones and Miss Sutcliffe was very impressed with our answering of questions. Then we became forensic scientists and investigated different skulls. We had to use our skills to identify which animal the skulls belonged to. After lunch we had some time and the rain had stopped so we went to play in the playground. Our next workshop was 'The Science of Art and Noticing' where we had the opportunity to explore the museum and draw the objects that we noticed. Using our drawings we then created a poem using adjectives and a question. What a fantastic day we had!
