Today, the children at Fagley Primary school were visited by the Cat Protection. Kirsty the education officer spoke to the children about to care for their cats correctly. All the children attended a special assembly. Nursery and Reception children were visited in their classrooms. An interesting fact: A study carried out by Cats Protection shows that children aged between six and seven have a better understanding of health and illness if their families own a cat. The findings also show that children who live in households with cats have a better knowledge of healthy eating and the importance of exercise.
